In December 2021, the Performics @ Zenith team officially became a Mobile Web certified company partner with Google.
This is the first skills-based certification launched by Google, marking their acknowledgment of how marketers are looking for trusted partners that work beyond Google products and have in-depth knowledge of specific disciplines.
Mobile Web has been a long-time focal point for Performics @ Zenith. Led by the Owned Media department, the benefits of this work extend across channel disciplines. The activities of paid media such as paid search, social, programmatic, and affiliates are all reliant on a good mobile experience.
In 2021, 55% of global website traffic was generated via mobile (Statista, 2021) and 35% of the money is left on the table in eCommerce due to poor UX causing a ‘trillion-dollar problem’ (CareerFoundry, 2017).
Improving user-experience [UX] design of clients’ websites and ensuring that mobile speeds are optimal are essential to driving all-important views, leads and sales. According to Google, 40% of consumers will leave a webpage that takes longer than 3 seconds to load and 79% of shoppers who are dissatisfied with a site are less likely to purchase from the site again. This makes mobile performance critical to any business looking to succeed in today’s mobile-dominated world.
